DIY Sugar Scrub – Soft Skin in Minutes

Want glowing, silky-smooth skin without spending a fortune? A homemade sugar scrub is quick, natural, and smells amazing. You only need a few ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen!  Why Sugar Scrubs Work

Sugar is a gentle exfoliant that removes dead skin cells, while oils lock in moisture. This combo leaves your skin soft, nourished, and fresh.

 Basic Sugar Scrub Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup granulated sugar (white or brown)

  • ½ cup oil (coconut, olive, almond, or jojoba)

  • Optional: 5–10 drops essential oil (lavender, peppermint, vanilla, or your favorite scent)

Instructions:

  1. In a clean bowl, mix sugar and oil until fully combined.

  2. Add essential oils (optional) and stir well.

  3. Transfer into an airtight jar.

How to Use:

  • Apply to damp skin in the shower.

  • Massage in gentle, circular motions for 1–2 minutes.

  • Rinse with warm water.

  • Pat dry and enjoy your silky-smooth skin!

 Customization Ideas:

  • Brightening: Add 1 tsp lemon zest.

  • Relaxing: Add dried lavender buds.

  • Invigorating: Add 1 tsp ground coffee.

Note: Avoid using on your face if you have sensitive skin, and always do a patch test before adding essential oils.
