Super Eagles striker Henry Onyekuru joins Monaco from Everton on 5-Year deal

Super Eagles of Nigeria and Everton striker, Henry Onyekuru has completed a switch to French football club, AS Monaco.

The 22-year-old signed a five-year deal for an undisclosed fee, and will be at the club until 2024.


Henry, who arrived at Everton from KAS Eupen for £8million in 2017, has spent the past two seasons on loan at Anderlecht and Galatasaray due to challenges to secure a work permit to play in the Premier League.

Today, August 12, 2019, Everton confirmed on Twitter that the 22-year-old has departed for Monaco on a permanent basis. 

The Ligue 1 club also announced the signing on their page, saying: 'We are delighted to announce the signing of Henry Onyekuru from Everton. Our new attacking midfielder joins us on a 5-year deal.'
