Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson, 76, has been admitted to hospital following a reportedly seriously health scare.    

The 13 time Premier League and two time UEFA Champions League winning coach was admitted to Salford Royal Hospital today after falling ill late on Friday night.

Popular Instagram model, Cali Noelle, in an attempt to break the internet and prove that her butt is natural decided to team up with her mother for a naked photoshoot.

In the photos shared to Cali's Instagram account, the mother and daughter are pictured completely topless with their butts fully on display.

35 year after, legendary Swedish group 'ABBA" announce plans to make new songs

On Friday, Sweden’s legendary disco group ABBA announced that they have reunited to record two new songs, 35 years after their last single was released.

“We all four felt that, after some 35 years, it could be fun to join forces again and go into the recording studio. So we did,” the group said in a statement after repeatedly vowing they would never reunite.

President Buhari has refuted claims that he hires crowd that come out to welcome him during any state visit. Speaking at the dinner organized in his honor to mark his 2-day working visit to Bauchi State, President Buhari said

“I am very pleased that people voluntarily turned up, challenged the weather, waited in the heat for hours, just because they wanted to see me and say hello. I never hired any crowd because I am not in a position to hire crowds… thank you very much for the turnout.” he said

Troops arrest key Boko haram suspect linked to Benue attacks(photos)

The Nigerian Army has arrest a major Boko Haram suspect believed to have masterminded most of the recent attacks in Benue State.

A combined team of troops of 707 Special Forces Brigade, Nigeria Police and the Department of State Services arrested Aminu Yaminu who is nicknamed Tashaku, on Friday April 27th in Makurdi, the state capital.

“Following an intelligence report, it was gathered that Aminu has concluded plans with his cohorts in Bauchi, Borno, Yobe and Nasarawa states to launch a major attack on innocent citizens in Benue State. As earlier reinstated, Nigerian Army will ensure enemies of peace in the state are brought to justice. Nigerian Army encourages all law-abiding citizens to go about their lawful businesses without fear'' a statement released by the Assistant Director, Army Public Relations, 707 Special Forces Brigade in Makurdi, Olabisi Olalekan Ayeni, read in part.

Female Corps member dies after "Man o War" drilling exercise in Kwara NYSC orientation camp

A member of National Youth Service Corps(NYSC) died after being injured during a "Man o War" drilling exercise in the ongoing orientation camp at Yikpata camp in Edu local government council of Kwara state.

The deceased identified as Hilda Eva Amadi, an Oil and Gas graduate of the University of Port Harcourt, fell from the string while participating in the drilling exercise.

Tonto Dikeh becomes NAPTIP ambassador (Photos)

Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, has been unveiled as the new ambassador to the National Agency for Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) on human trafficking.

The actress was honored with the role on Friday during a courtesy visit with the members of her NGO, Tonto Dikeh Foundation, to the Headquarters of the Agency in Abuja as part of a collaboration to fight against trafficking in persons.

In a statement by Mrs. Julie Okah-Donli, Director- General of NAPTIP, she applauded Tonto for her humanitarian gesture and contributions towards the less privileged in the society.

A 35-year-old man identified as Nkemakolam Ugorji, and his wife, Happiness, have said economic hardship made them sell their two-day-old baby girl in Isiala Ngwa, Abia State, according to Punchng.

Ugorji and Happiness said they had been married for 7 years and already had 4 children, adding that they could not care for the 5th baby and therefore decided to give her away to foster parents. Happiness said, “My husband and I decided to sell our baby because of hardship. We have four children and my husband is not working.

Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to President Buhari on Media and Publicity says there is no single town in the country that is under the control of the Boko Haram terrorist group.  

Adesina spoke this morning during his appearance on a special programme on Channels Television. He also believes President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration has won the war against the insurgency to a notable extent, except for the ‘strike and vanish’ activities of the insurgents.

The Oba arrived at the palace in Ile-Ife at 1:15pm with his chiefs and some dignitaries from the ancient city of Benin. Prominent traditional rulers and notable indigenes of Ife, who joined the Ooni to receive the Benin monarch are the Orangun of Ila, Oba Wahab Oyedotun, traditional rulers from Ile Ife and Dr. John Odeyemi.

Cultural troupes from Benin, entertainers and drummer from Ile-Ife started drumming, singing and dancing as early as 10:am inside the hall where Oba Ewuare was received.

Malawi’s former female president, Joyce Banda returns after Four-year exile

Malawi’s former president, Joyce Banda returned home today after four years of self-imposed exile, despite facing the threat of arrest over corruption allegations.  

Banda, 68, fled the country in 2014 when she lost power after being embroiled in the so-called Cashgate scandal, in which government officials syphoned off millions of dollars of public money.  Banda; only the second woman to lead a country in Africa arrived at Blantyre’s airport on a flight from Johannesburg around midday on Saturday, where she was greeted by hundreds of supporters of her People’s Party, said an AFP journalist at the scene.  “Mother is here, the lights should come back”, the crowd chanted.

There has been rumors that Ebuka and Ceec were friends prior to the just concluded Big Brother Niaja reality show. This rumors began after Ceec while conversing with some housemates during the show, said that she admires Ebuka and had met him before auditioning for BBN Double Wahala.
