Meghan Markle's estranged half-sister asks the Duchess of Sussex to "do the right thing" and reunite their family

Samantha Markle, the estranged half-sister of Meghan Markle has called on Meghan to "do the right thing" and reunite their family in the wake of the royal wedding. 

Samantha says she was inspired by Bishop Michael Curry's message of love at Meghan's wedding inside St George's Chapel. Samantha said she was deeply affected by the message and she's asking Meghan to bring their family back together after years of separation. 

Samantha called on the Duchess of Sussex to "do the morally and religiously right thing", adding that their separation should "ride on her conscience".

She said:

I watched the bishop talk about love and unity and forgiveness and I hoped it would strike a chord within Meghan.

I feel a religious and moral obligation to be open to her and not be vindictive or isolating or hurt.

This should ride on her conscience as a moral obligation to at some point communicate with me and be united rather than divided – as that was the whole message.

Samantha made money out of Meghan's wedding by watching her half-sister wed from her home in Florida, alongside a television crew in a paid-for appearance. Her partner Mark Phillips, 60, suggested the appearance was earning her a five-figure sum.

From outside his home, Mark told newsmen who tried to interview Samantha as she watched the royal wedding: "You can't go in there. She is making big money with an exclusive TV interview."

Samantha also took the chance to lash out at the Royal family, saying that their family dramas were far greater than the Markle's.

A 22-year-old woman was rescued from a gang of suspected kidnappers and ritualists in Agege, Lagos, Nigeria.

Yesterday, Abidemi Omoniyi, a front desk officer at a hotel in Omole Phase I, boarded an unpainted taxi around 7am at  Egbatedo Bus Stop to go to Pen Cinema.

However, shortly after she got into the taxi, she realized she had joined a wrong vehicle and started screaming, at which point she said the driver, named Emeka Okeke, and his accomplices informed her that she would be taken to Ibadan where a customer was waiting to buy her vital organs.

A Florida woman was captured smiling in her mugshot after causing a deadly DUI crash that killed a woman and injured her daughter.

Florida Highway Patrol CBS affiliate WKMG reports that Angenette Marie Welk may face a DUI manslaughter charge after the accident in Marion County last week.

According to the crash report, Welk was driving her 2011 Chevrolet Avalon when she rear-ended a Hyundai Elantra, sandwiching that car between Welk's sedan and a tractor-trailer.

The driver of the Elantra, 18-year-old Shiyanne Kroll, suffered minor injuries, but her mother, 60-year-old Sandra Clarkson, who was in the car with her, suffered critical injuries and died some days later. The truck driver escaped unhurt.

According to Press Association photographer, Yui Mok, who captured the amazing photo, he said: 'I was positioned on the roof of George IV Gateway of Windsor Castle, and they passed directly beneath me during their carriage procession,' Mok explained to fans on Twitter.

The official wedding photos of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been released today and they are extraordinary, to say the least.

The three photographs shared by Kensington Palace are being referred to as the boldest and most intimate royal portraits ever released.

Accompanying the photos was a message from Harry and Meghan saying they "feel so lucky" to have shared their big day with the world. They also thanked their millions of adoring fans for their messages. 

A Kensington Palace spokesperson said: "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex would like to thank everyone who took part in the celebrations of their wedding on Saturday. They feel so lucky to have been able to share their day with all those gathered in Windsor and also all those who watched the wedding on television across the UK, Commonwealth, and around the world.

"Their Royal Highnesses are delighted with these official portraits taken by Alexi Lubomirski and are happy to be able to share them today. They would also like to say thank you for all of the generous messages of support they have received."

Of the three photos shared, the most striking image is of Meghan sitting between Harry's legs as the prince looks smiling at the camera while his new bride laughs at someone off camera.

Another wedding photo features The Queen, Prince Phillip, Prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles, Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and all the bridesmaid and page boys. The photo has an informal feel and shows Prince George and Princess Charlotte grinning widely.

The couple were captured by Alexi Lubomirski, 42, the protege of photographer Mario Testino who was famously beloved by Harry's mother Princess Diana. He was also the one who took Harry and Meghan's official engagement photos.

Mr Lubomirski, 42, whose own wife looks very much like Meghan, called Meghan's relationship with Prince Harry a "wonderful love story".
