Personal Assistant to President Buhari on New media, Bashir Ahmad, took to twitter to warn a member of the House of Reps and former speaker of the Kwara state House of Assembly, Rasaq Atunwa, not to refer to President Buhari as a Tyrant.

Nigeria’s Finance Minister, Kemi Adeosun, did not participate in the mandatory one-year national youth service scheme. Instead, she forged an exemption certificate many years after graduation, PREMIUM TIMES can authoritatively report.

The year-long service, organised by the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC), is compulsory for all Nigerians who graduate from universities or equivalent institutions at less than 30 years of age.

In addition to being a requirement for government and private sector jobs in Nigeria, the enabling law prescribes punishment for anyone who absconds from the scheme or forges its certificates.

Woman rejected by ritualists after she boarded a bus in Edo state comes out to narrate how other passengers were killed in her presence

She told of how she watched them slaughter the only other female passenger who boarded the bus with them. Next, they slaughtered two male passengers. When it got to her turn, the chief priest rejected her and she was thrown out of the forest naked.

She was eventually rescued by passers-by.

NEC to spend N600m on Ekiti State July 14th governorship election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said it will spend about N600m on the Ekiti State governorship election which will take place on July 14, 2018.

The INEC National Commissioner in charge of the Ekiti election, Prince Solomon Soyebi, said this during an interview with Saturday PUNCH “for the Ekiti election, the aggregate is much because when we talk about the commission spending on Ekiti, I can assure you that we are spending over N600m.”

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has charged President Muhammadu Buhari to immediately sack, arrest and arraign his minister of finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun for alleged criminal forgery of her NYSC certificate.

PDP urges President Buhari not to provide a cover for Adeosun in the character of his Presidency whenever close allies or agents are found wanting on issues of corruption.

The party said the revelation vindicates its stand that the Buhari Presidency is a haven of fraudsters, common thieves and persons of questionable character, adding that the recent revelation has cast a full-length dark shadow on the overall integrity of his administration.

Bilikisu Oseni, an S.S.1 student, left her mother’s shop in Odogunyan, Ikorodu, Lagos State, with her boyfriend, Wahis, on Sunday, June 24, 2018. Wahis, a motor boy, took Bilikisu on a motorcycle to his new apartment on Igbosoro Road, Ikorodu, and that was the last she was seen, Punch reports.

When Bilikisu did not return home, her mother, Fausatu Oseni, got Wahis arrested. Wahis was eventually granted bail after his relatives promised that he would produce Bilikisu. But he was mandated to return the victim in 7 days or be re-arrested.
