Oprah Winfrey took it all back to where it all began as she posed for her first Oprah magazine cover with her best friend, Gayle King. 

The billionaire media mogul said the reason her 40 years friendship with Gayle King has lasted without arguments or fallouts is because they've always been happy with their lives. According to Oprah, a true friend can’t be jealous of you or want to take advantage of you in any way. 

She wrote as they covered Oprah Magazine September’s friendship issue;

Regina Askia took to Instagram to share the excitement of her daughter, Teesa Williams, graduating from High School and beginning a new journey in College. 

The former beauty queen and actress shared a graduation photo of Tessa, 18, and further disclosed that she is starting off a Pre-Law degree in Business Administration. Regina wrote;

When asked by Big Boy, "How many females you think you knocked down in the last six months?" Blueface responded, "1,000, I'm a f**ker."

He went on to explain how he was able to bed 1000 women in a short amount of time.

The 42-year-old rapper is said to have pulled up at the venue, Swanky eatery Delilah in West Hollywood, California Wednesday night ( August 7) in a brand new, customized luxury 2019 Lamborghini SUV, which he then gave to his longtime friend.

The man took to his Instagram account to share a photo of them posing together in front of the new ride.

No N9.9b traced to my account- Ambode clarifies

Akinwunmi Ambode, the immediate past governor of Lagos State, has reacted to media reports claiming the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has frozen certain accounts with over N9.9 billion linked to him.

In a statement signed by his media aide, Habib Aruna, the former governor said no account of his contained N9.9bn let alone being frozen by the EFCC. He said while he doesn't want to join issues with the anti-corruption agency at this time especially as there has been no communication between him and the commission on this issue, it is important for him to clarify what he believed was a misleading report of the press statement by the EFCC released on Tuesday August 6th.

Governor Nyesom Wike yesterday announced a N30 million reward for anyone with credible information that will lead to the arrest of the criminal known as Bobrisky. The notorious criminal is said to have terrorised residents of Gokana local government area in the state for a very long time.

Governor Wike announces arrest of Bobrisky

Governor Nyesom Wike has announced the arrest of Bobrisky in less 24 hours after he placed a N30m bounty on the notorious cultist from Gokana area of the state. 

The Rivers State Governor confirmed the arrest of Bobrisky by the Nigerian army, while hosting leaders of Rumuolumeni Community at the Government House Port Harcourt on Friday August 9. 

Governor El-Rufai wants zoning stopped in Presidency

Governor Nasir El-Rufai warned against zoning of the Presidency between the North and South region of Nigeria in a prologue titled ‘Defeating a Determined Incumbent – The Nigerian Experience’, written in contributiion to a book by the Director-General of the Progressives Governors’ Forum, Salihu Lukma. 

The Kaduna State Governor argued that the competence has to be taken up in place of zoning as Nigeria cannot afford towing same path again. He also described the present method of funding parties as “opaque” and also proposed a new method which will cut off godfathers, while revealing factors that contributed to electoral success of the All Progressives Congress in the 2015 presidential election.
