Liam Hemsworth's family is reportedly pleading with him to 'cut off all contact' with the estranged wife Miley Cyrus after their split.

According to The Sun, the Hemsworths are deeply concerned that Liam, 29, will reconcile with Miley, 26, after their split was announced on Saturday, August 10.

A source said: 'Miley and Liam both keep saying the word "separated", not "divorcing", which has his family really worried they're leaving the door open to get back together in the future.'

The insider added: '[Their marriage] has been toxic for way too long. They're not meant to be together.'

The Senate will pass the 2020 national budget before this year’s Christmas. The senate President, Ahmed Lawan, gave the assurance after visiting Katsina State governor, Aminu Bello Masari, at Government House yesterday August 16th.

He said the National Assembly is expecting the budget from the presidency by September and hoped to deliberate and pass it within two months.

He was summarily sent to prison by the presiding judge. Kate says details show that the state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, has a hand in Sunusi's travail.

The UEFA Men's Player of the Year shortlist has been released with Virgil van Dijk ready to battle Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo for the award.

Ban on FOREX for food importation is anti-people- PDP tells President Buhari

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has described President Buhari’s directive to the Central Bank of Nigeria CBN against the issuance of FOREX to importers of food products, as ''anti-people'', mean, ill-timed and completely against the wellbeing of Nigerians.

Recall that during the SALLAH break, President Buhari announced that he has ordered the CBN not to issue FOREX to food importers. According to President Buhari, the agricultural sector has grown tremendously and his administration has been able to attain full food security.

Speaking at the event, President Buhari revealed that the Federal Government invested huge resources in the health sector in the last 4 years which include an increased budgetary allocation to the sector from N259 billion in 2015 to N340 billion in 2018.

“Accordingly, significant stride has been made to life expectancy and reduced some of the killer diseases associated with child and maternal mortality claiming 70 death per 100,000 and 90 persons by the year 2007 as explained in the United Nations sustainable development goals.

“Despite this, more efforts are needed to fill in the wide range of diseases and remain persistent in the emerging health issues in our society.

“To achieve this, we must now reveal effort to focus on providing more efficient funding on the health sector" he said.
