Kcee has pushed the blame of celebrities living fake lives as witnessed in the Nigerian entertainment industry on the fans.

Alleging that most celebrities lead fake lives, the Five Star Music boss stated that people don't like it when one is real. He further disclosed that this pressure pushes many into faking it till they make it. 

“90 per cent of celebrities lead fake lives because you guys (the public) are putting them under pressure. People don’t like it when you are real; they prefer it when you lie to them, and that’s why many fake it until they make it.

“If you are very honest and truthful with them (fans), your records will have slow sales. 80 per cent of celebrities rent apartments but they would claim they bought the houses. They go through that because fans put them under so much pressure. That you see someone on television does not mean the person is worth N1bn, so people should stop thinking that we’re living in heaven on earth" he told Saturday Beats.

Destiny Etiko finally opened up on the Mercedes SUV she got as a birthday gift days ago and the backlash that trailed the show-off on Instagram.

Forbes-rated young Nigerian billionaire, Obinwanne Okeke arrested by FBI for $12 million (N4.3bn) fraud

A Forbes-rated young Nigerian billionaire and CEO of Invictus Group, Obinwanne Okeke has been arrested by America's Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) over a $12 million (N4.3bn) fraud. 

He was arrested last week on the last day of his trip to the United States for allegedly defrauding top American companies of huge sums. Notably, he allegedly scammed $12m from a steel company by hacking into an executive’s office365 account and sending an email with a fake invoice to the purchase department. His arrest came after Special Agent Marshall Ward of the FBI and the team he heads opened up an investigation in July 2018, following a petition by Unatrac Holding Limited.

The Senate will pass the 2020 national budget before this year’s Christmas. The senate President, Ahmed Lawan, gave the assurance after visiting Katsina State governor, Aminu Bello Masari, at Government House yesterday August 16th.

Alleged N3.3bn fraud: Head of Service Oyo-Ita’s passports seized by EFCC

The International and diplomatic passports of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Winifred Ekanem Oyo-Ita, who is currently being investigated for alleged N3billion fraud, has been seized by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC.

He was summarily sent to prison by the presiding judge. Kate says details show that the state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, has a hand in Sunusi's travail.

The UEFA Men's Player of the Year shortlist has been released with Virgil van Dijk ready to battle Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo for the award.

Liverpool defender, Van Dijk, 28, was shortlisted for the award after playing an influential role as they won the Champions League and UEFA Super Cup. He also helped his team finish second place in the Premier League and reached the UEFA Nations League final with Holland earlier in the summer, where they were beaten by Portugal.

While he was everyone’s favorite teacher because he was one of the most respected actors in Nigeria, it was different for me. I felt he didn’t separate being my father and my lecturer. I was wrong.

He’d stop me from entering the class when I was a minute late. Then when his favorite students like John Ochinya Onah, Jane Oganya Unogwu, Patience Eloyi Itodo Abah, Nicholas Kiva, Anne Onwuka Echor, Esther Omale Onwuka or the late Che Che came after me, he’d have to let me in. I always gave him a wry smile when entering.
